Makes me miss my days at Go Media doing clever yet meaningful project like this. I used to say the mark of a great direct mail piece was if it got tacked to the bulletin board/cubicle wall. A friend & client, Cindy Lo, told me about it via a Facebook post. We actually had a couple of people contact us about projects (a kitchen remodel and a restaurant re-do) after receiving the card, so it certainly justified sending out the piece via 'snail mail'. What you don't know is that we also created a virtual card that I think works better in some ways and allows us to reach people whose mailing addresses are not current or those who might be more likely to open an e-mail card. We feel like you need a mix of virtual & direct mail communications. btw . . . I don't have your current e-mail address - can you send it to me & I'll send you the virtual version of the card.
